Sundry journal and Agimar Wiẞensuchender.

At the beginning of this new year, I have decided to roll the dice on starting a blog.  I have wanted to start this for a while, and I have just never pulled the trigger.  2020 hasn’t been the most friendly for most people, and I don’t see 2021 being much better.  So that is why I think this is a good time to get it done.  This blog is mostly to put out in words my attempts at growth. This blog will not have a set topic, primarily a journal of sorts.  It will go with my interests and what I am looking at for self-growth.  Me and my interests are varied, from history to cryptozoology and conspiracy theories.  More of the off the wall things will be less frequent than history,  which will hopefully be less frequent than the events or ideas I come across for self-growth.

So who am I?  I am in my 30s and am a lifelong procrastinator and underachiever; writing has never been my strong suit, nor sharing and consistency a strength.  I grew up in the church with a Grandfather preacher.  I took my relationship with God very much for granted.  I coasted through school and college, which I stopped after an associate’s degree.  In part because of the price of continuing and because I already wasted so much time.  Now I am trying to make changes, drastic changes. I have moved over 1500 miles, am trying to finish my degree, and change my personal life.  I intend to discuss my thoughts about what I am going through while occasionally having a bit of fun and discussing other interests now and then.

I will approach these topics, and the things I curate for self-growth will be through my biases.  Topics I talk about and dive into will be, as it regards growth, will fit mostly into three categories: spiritual, physical, and personal. My spiritual growth is to center around a relationship with God, something I feel is a crucial and neglected aspect of my life.  Physical taking care of myself, the physical and partially mental needs.  My interests include math, science, history, travel, and topics that could be considered more on the far-out side; these will be things that I will write about at times.  As cryptozoology, ghost, aliens, and conspiracy theory, some weirder stuff is not an interest I do not take seriously, but I find them amusing or exciting.  When traveling is a thing again, and I go someplace, I may write about it if I have enough to write about there.

I have no idea what shape this blog will take in the end, but I would like to start by posting once every couple of weeks to begin and moving to do at least one podcast on top of that. Like myself, I expect this to grow into its shape after finding what works and doesn’t work out.  As they say, it is the journey, not the destination, that counts; hopefully, this will be a long ever-changing journey with continual growth.
